This short extract from “42”, lasting just over three-quarters of a minute, was shown at the end of the most recent edition of “Totally Doctor Who”. Designed to give you the collywobbles, it is slightly undermined by Martha’s mobile conversation with her Mother in which Elvis appears to be a password! It suggests the Doctor has tweaked his new companion’s phone, the way he did Rose’s in “The End of the World”!! Hopefully, this won’t dominate the episode but tension and claustrophobia will!!!

Mmmm even more exciting! And I love that phrase "Burn with me"!! Scary!
I know what you mean the Martha's mum bit is slightly out of place. Fortunately the Jones family haven't been supplanting the action too much yet. I wonder when Martha's Mum will start trusting the old Doc?
I do like the idea of having the episode in "real time" - should build up the tension more. Hope that's the case!
I'm convinced he's saying "Burn Whitby". The old chap obviously has something against Northern seaside towns.
Ha ha - no that's cruel! It should be "Burn Scarborough" or "Burn Filey" instead, they're far more tacky. Whitby has class.
Yes! You're right goddamit! Burn Filey! And Blackpool! Especially Blackpool... preferably with Roy Chubby Brown tied to the tower!
I love the phrase "Burn with me", too! Good cliff-hanger at the end of the clip.
I had a nice holiday in Whitby! As you can imagine, the place fascinated me as it's where Bram Stoker conceived the idea of Dracula being run aground. As all good vampire-hunters are aware, it would be of no avail to "Burn Whitby" as you can't destroy a child of the night with fire!!
