Congratulations Katie!

Following the phenomenal success of her debut album "Call Off The Search", singer Katie Melua has become a British citizen after pledging her allegiance to the Queen in a citizenship ceremony.

Best known for "The Closest Thing To Crazy", a near-perfect pop song of which there are too few nowadays, the 20-year-old star was born in the former Soviet republic of Georgia but moved to Belfast aged eight and settled in Redhill, Surrey, five years later.

She took the oath with her family in Weybridge, Surrey, and said she was "proud to now be a British citizen".

"As a family, we have been very fortunate to find a happy lifestyle in this country and we feel we belong."

I think you are right about the reasons for people not liking Wesley. I don't think that they had the same dislike for Jake Sisko or Nog. But neither of them were meant to be genius' although they eventually found their own talent. It's funny you should mention Adric because Wheaton was once asked a question where his character was compared to Adric. he couldn't really answer it though as he had no idea who Adric was.

My favourite character is a hard one to narrow down. I had a huge crush on Bashir so he was one of my favourites. I liked Picard too though. He had a lot of great storylines and stewart played the character well.

I'm looking forward to the Cyberman storyline. This will be one of the Christmas specials I will make a point of not missing. I actaully have a few of those audio Doctor Who stories. Some of them were just okay which is why I stopped buying them. There was one Cyberman story though that I thought was really good and very scary. I can't remember which one it is. I think I will have to look it out.
